PharmaCann medical cannabis prescriber portal now open for beta-testing
Updated: Apr 8
Zeacann's New Zealand medical cannabis prescriber portal, pharmacann.nz, is now open for beta testing by approved health professionals.
The portal provides tools developed by doctors, for doctors, to assist in learning about therapeutic uses of cannabis and cannabinoids and navigate the prescription process with confidence and assurance.
While initially aimed at authorised prescribers, the portal will in time cater for other health practitioners, pharmacists and patients seeking information about how cannabis-based medicines may be useful therapeutically.
The portal helps determine patient eligibility, streamlines the process, maintains the highest quality standards and ensures robust regulatory compliance. Tools include a contraindications checklist, treatment planner, consent forms, outcome tracker, product locator and dosage guide that is searchable by pathology.
Developing the portal is a key part of Zeacann's strategy to unlock barriers to patient access, and includes content licensed from the UK's MedCanHub.
Interested prescribers are invited to register now.
Alternatively, if you would like more information, simply register on the portal contact page to receive more information. We'll be in touch with further guidance, and to answer any questions you may have.
